Content
This award tests knowledge at a similar level to the Intermediate
Certificate. It is however a new qualification with a considerable
change of emphasis. It concentrates on those aspects of the supervision
of food hygiene and safety that enable supervisors in the hospitality
and catering industries to identify problem areas and to recommend
solutions. There is particular stress on the specific role of
the supervisor, specifically in ensuring the correct application
of food safety management systems, monitoring procedures and communicating
with staff. |
