Fellowship of the
Royal Society for the Promotion of Health
As a Fellow of the Society, you may:
- Use the designation 'FRSH' after your name
- Stand for election to the Society's governing Council
- Stand for election by Council to the position of Chairman of Council
- Stand for election by the Council to other Council positions, including
Deputy Chairman and Honorary Treasurer
- Be chosen to represent the Society on other UK and international bodies
with which we have affiliations
- Attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting and other general meetings
of the Society
- Attend events, seminars or members evenings
- Take part in e-topic groups and development panels
- Take part in consultation exercises from government and regulatory
bodies which may affect the sector you practice in
- Receive the monthly email newsbrief with the latest updates and roundups
- Receive the weekly Public Health News magazine (only for UK Fellows
who have given permission for external mail).
- Receive the Journal every two months
free of subscription (normal rate £105 per year)
- Access to Web Research Resources. Fellows may access a 6-month archive
of technical briefings on food, trade, health and safety and other technical
updates.
- Take advantage of our CV Clinic. Fellows
may submit their CV and obtain advice as to how to improve its content
and presentation
- Benefit from preferential rates on Professional Indemnity Insurance.
All Fellows in the UK are eligible to join an insurance scheme at very
favourable rates.
