Eligibility for Membership Membership of the Society is open to all people around the world who support our aims and objectives. These are: To improve the quality and dignity of human life worldwide and to promote the continuous improvement in human health through education, communications and the encouragement of scientific research. All Society Members are bound by our Code of Conduct and are required to agree to this when they complete their application to be elected as a Member. Our Members are people in a wide variety of health-related professions, including:
Election to Membership depends on your qualifications and experience. All of your academic and professional education, training and experience will be considered in your application for Membership. If you wish to discuss your likely eligibility on an informal basis before making an application, please contact Membership. Please note that the statements below are general guidelines for eligibility. Each application is considered on its own individual merits. The final decision on elections to Membership rests with the Council of The Society. These statements do not form part of a contract and election to Membership is not guaranteed to any applicant.
