Changing Your Membership Grade

As your career develops, you may become eligible for a higher grade of Membership. Please check our Membership criteria to see if you qualify for a different grade.

Applying for a Higher Grade
Please complete the grade transfer form (Word version) (PDF version) and send it to the Membership Office with the grade transfer fee of £25.

The Word form can be completed and returned by email, but it is important that you do not include payment details if applying this way. Our Membership Department will contact you to take payment.

Applying for a Retired Grade
You are eligible for this grade if you have retired from paid employment, because you have reached the age of 60, or on grounds of ill health. Application Form for a Retired grade (Word Document). There is no fee for transfer to a retired grade.

The Word form can be completed and returned by email to our Membership Department.
